All the teams will have a new look ahead of the 15th edition of the IPL. Every team finalized its squad in the mega auction and the 15th edition of the Indian T20 League is going to be a cracking affair.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) invested heavily in bowlers and all-rounders. On Day 1, the RCB side spent a whopping sum of INR 10.75 Crore to buy back Harshal Patel. They also splashed over INR 10 Crore to procure the services of Sri Lankan Wanindu Hasaranga .
Aussie pacer Josh Hazlewood was pouched for a sum of INR 7.75 Crore on Day 1, and left-arm spinner Shahbaz Ahmed was bought for INR 2.40 Crore.
Another massive buy for the RCB side was Faf du Plessis. RCB went on a bidding war with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals, but in the end pouched the South African for a sum of INR 7 Crore. Veteran Dinesh Karthik was bought for a sum of INR 5.50 Crore, while RCB shelled out INR 3.4 Crore for newbie Anuj Rawat. Akash Deep was taken for his base price of INR 20 Lakh.

On Day 2 of the mega auction, Finn Allen was bought by RCB for just INR 80 Lakh, Jason Behrendorff for INR 75 Lakh, Karn Sharma for INR 50 Lakh, and Chama Milind for INR 25 Lakh.
Mahipal Lomror was then pouched by the franchise for INR 95 Lakh. Overseas recruit Sherfane Rutherford was pouched for exactly 1 Crore, while Suyash Prabudesai was bought for INR 30 Lakh. Aneeshwar Gautam was also recruited for just INR 20 Lakh. RCB then purchased David Willey for a sum of INR 2 Crore.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side will be aiming for their first-ever IPL title in 2022, and after the auction, they will surely believe that they have the squad to do it!!
