After the resignation of Trivendra Singh Rawat today BJP announced that Triath Singh Rawat will be the new CM of Uttrakhand.
Triath Singh Rawat who began as an State Vice President of Uttar Pradesh . In 1997 he was elected as Uttarpradesh legislative Council and was later elected as the President of Legislative council of U. P.
He was the first education minister of Uttarakhand. As Uttrakhand BJP president he won 4 mayrol positions in municipal Corporation out of six as well as BJP won all five seats in Uttrakhand. He was elected as the M. P. From Pauri lokstseat on 23rd May 2019 by defeating his rivial Mr. Manish Khanduri by 3.50 lakh votes.
He is also the former member of Uttrakhand legislative Assembly from Chaubttakhal consistency. He is currently BJP national secretary.
