On Congress Legislature Party leader Siddaramaiah’s remarks that BJP leaders are fake Hindus, he said the party need not learn a lesson on Hinduism from Congress. He celebrated the birth anniversary of Tipu Sultan, who had vandalized Hindu temples during his reign Siddaramaiah also attempted to divide the Lingayat community into Veerashaiva-Lingayats for political gains. Therefore, there is no need to learn a lesson from one who does not believe in God.

On the question of rising fuel prices, he said that there is nothing new in this. It is not that fuel prices have increased for the first time after PM Modi took over. PM Modi is planning to implement a law that will benefit the farming community.
