All ministers in the Rajasthan government have submitted their resignation to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, reports said on November 20.
A day before the likely reshuffle in the Rajasthan Cabinet, all ministers in the Ashok Gehlot-led state Cabinet resigned on Saturday.
The resignation comes after a meeting of the Rajasthan council of ministers was held at Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s residence in Jaipur at 7 pm on Saturday.
On Sunday, all the ministers will go to the state Congress headquarters at 2 pm where everything will be decided. The swearing-in of the new Cabinet is likely to take place at 4 pm.
On Friday, three Rajasthan ministers — state education minister Govind Singh Dotasra, Harish Chaudhary and Raghu Sharma — offered their resignation to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. They wrote to Sonia Gandhi, expressing their desire to work in the party organisation and step down from their posts.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot accepted the resignations of the three ministers on Saturday.
