Thalapathy Vijay’s box office might was once again proven beyond doubt as his recent blockbuster hit movie ‘Master’ costarring Vijay Sethupathi has been declared the highest worldwide grossing film of the year in Indian cinema.
The charismatic star has also completed the first schedule of shooting in the USA for his next movie ‘Thalapathy 65’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures with Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music and Manoj Paramahamsa handling the camera. The film which has Pooja Hegde as the lead heroine is expected to resume shooting once the coronavirus pandemic situation eases off.
Vamshi is giving final touches for the script and he confirmed the same during one of his recent interviews. Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations are the producers and Vamshi said that the official announcement will be made once the pandemic calms down. The announcement is expected in July this year.
Vamshi Paidapally has confirmed to Tollywood media that he is indeed directing ‘Thalapathy 66’ bankrolled by Dil Raju that it will be one of the costliest films ever made in South India with a pan Indian subject.
Unconfirmed reports say that Keerthy Suresh is likely to play the female lead in ‘Thalapathy 65’ while Thaman will be scoring the music. The official announcement is expected on Vijay’s birthday on June 22nd if the situation is conducive amongst the people who are reeling under the COVID 19 second wave.
