CET postponed to August 28th and 29

On Wednesday Education minister of Karnataka informed that the K CET which was supposed to be conducted on 7th and 8th of July has been postponed. Dr. Aswath Narayan informed this through a press release on Twitter.

After the postponed of 2 nd PUC board exams in Karnataka the decision was taken today. That the K CET will also be postponed.

Dr. Aswath Narayan informs that the as we have postponed the 2nd PU exams in the state. We decided to postpone the K CET competitive exams further. The exams was supposed to be held in July. On July 7th and 8th . But amid raising cases of Corona in the state we decided to postponed it. The next dates for the K CET ( Common Entrance Test) will be in August 28 and 29 . As the raise in the covid cases is still in the peak in our country and state. We decided to take this step to ensure students safety. And also as the 2nd PU exams has been postponed the freshers would face problem’s. Now they can study and prepare themselves for both competitive exam and board exams.

On 28th and 29th August the K CET will be for English candidate and for those who have choose to write it in Kannada it will be on 30th of August.

Time Table for CET

The exams dates are 28th and 29th for English and on 30th for Kannada language students. The biology and Mathematics will be on 28th of August on 10:30 am to 11:50 am. On Saturday of 28th August.

On 29th of August that is Sunday the remaining two subject Chemistry and Physics will conducted on Sunday.

Time Table

Totally four exams will be conducted on two consecutive days. With each exam carrying 60 marks maximum. And 60 minutes to write the exams. Students are here by informed that the further application of K CET will be registered online.

K CET is conducted by KEA ( Karnataka Examination Authority) and the students are suggested to keep in touch with the website for further updates.
