Dakshina Kannada (Dakshina Kannada) district schools have been declared vacation today due to heavy rains.
There has been continuous rain since morning. Dakshina Kannada District Collector Dr KV Rajendra has given a day’s leave to the schools for the safety of children. Heavy rains will continue in the next two days in Bengaluru, coastal and Malanad districts. The Department of Meteorology (IMD) has warned of heavy rainfall in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
