Breaking News 10th Exams Cancelled in UP

The Education board of Uttar Pradesh has announced that the exams for 10th Exams will be cancelled. The decision on the 12th students is taken and they said that the exams will be held in July 2nd week. The 12th question paper will have only 3 questions. And the exam duration of 12th exams is reduced to one and half hours.

In view of the pandemic situation, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided not to conduct state board’s class 10 examination. The Yogi government has also decided to promote students of classes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,11 to promote to their next class. Not only Uttar Pradesh but several other state boards in the country have decided not to conduct exams for classes upto 11 as the country is still battling with the second wave of coronavirus.

This decision was taken seeing the uprise in exams and safety of students. The exams were to be held on May 8th. Both 10th and 12 th board examination were to be held in May. But it was postponed as the cases were raising. Now the government has taken a decision to cancell the 10th exams. And postponed the 12th. Along with 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 students will be promoted.

The CBSE ( Central Board of secondary education) and CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination) have cancelled 10th exams. And postponed the 12th exams.

Along with board exams many competitive exams have been postponed. JEE , NEET, UPSC and others have been put off till next date.

The ministry of Education on Monday has directed to postpone all the offline examination in May. This decision was taken after steep rise in the corona cases and students request. But however the ministry granted permission for all the online examination.
