Dharwad: As many as seven people were killed and 10 others injured after their vehicle hit a tree in Dharwad district of Karnataka on Friday night.
The vehicle carrying 21 people was on its way to Benkankatti when it met with an accident in Nigadi area of the district. The people were returning from a wedding.The injured people have been admitted to a nearby hospital. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, said police. “Investigation is on. A case has been registered under section 304 A of the India Penal Code (causing death by negligence),” a police official was quoted as saying by ANI.
