According to the information received, sensation spread after a dead body was found on the banks of Parvati river in Bamni forests of Kanchanpur police station area on Wednesday morning, after which it was found that the body of 60-year-old Bahabuddin Khan was found in pieces in several sacks on the banks of the river. It is being told that the deceased monk was a resident of Bhimgarh village and for the last 10 years he used to worship at the Mata’s temple located in the rugged terrain of Tontri village. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Kanchanpur police station has reached the spot and is collecting information about the matter. At the same time, a team of FSL has also been called at the spot.
At the same time, information has been received that the deceased monk had converted to Hinduism leaving Muslim religion and for the last 10 years he lived in the temple of Chamunda Mata and used to take care of the temple apart from reciting prayers here.
Several body parts found in four sacks
According to the incident, local villagers saw a dead body in four sacks in a blood-soaked condition on Wednesday morning, after which sensation spread in the area. After this, a huge crowd of villagers gathered there and the police was informed. The police reached the spot and took the dead body in their custody. At present, the police have not got any clue.
Leaving Muslim religion became Hindu
It is being told that priest Bahabuddin Khan had left Muslim religion last 10 years ago and adopted Hinduism and started worshiping in the temple. Local people say that the priest used to live in the temple of Mata in the ravines of Parvati river near Totri village. At present, the police is investigating the matter from mutual enmity and all angles.
Three sadhus absconded after the incident
Regarding this whole incident, Kanchanpur police station in-charge Hemraj Sharma says that last night the Mata Mandir priest of Tontri village, Bahabuddin, was murdered where the killers cut both the feet of the priest, both hands in the middle of the body and torso and locked them in sacks. Thrown away. On the other hand, Sharma told that there was another temple next to Mata Mandir where three other sadhus lived and they are absconding after the incident. Now the police have formed a team and the absconding sadhus are being searched.
