2 Kashmiri Pandits Sunil Kumar & Pintu Kumar Bhatt shot by terrorists in Shopian, one dead

A Kashmiri Pandit has been shot dead by terrorists in J&K’s Shopian. The victim’s brother has also been injured.

The targeted killing of Kashmiri Pandit’s continues in Jammu & Kashmir Shopian . Two brothers named Sunil Kumar Bhatt & Pintu Kumar Bhatt were shot by group of terrorist while there were 5 people working in the apple farm, 3 were left to go ny terrorist by recognising they were muslims

Terrorists have shot dead a Kashmiri Pandit in Kashmir’s Shopian district and injured his brother. The victim’s brother has been rushed to the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Sunil Kumar Bhatt, while his brother has been identified as Pintu Kumar Bhatt. The area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.

Protests were also held against the killing by BJP leaders and workers in the Poonch district.

Reacting to the killing, Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference chief Sajad Lone said, “Yet another dastardly attack by coward terrorists in Shopian. We strongly condemn this heinous act of violence. My condolences to the family.”

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi has also reacted by saying that Kashmiri Pandits are not safe. He said, “The BJP Appointed Lt.Governor and Administration by PM Modi are unsuccessful. Kashmiri Pandits are unsafe, Article 370 was removed by telling them that they will be safe. This must be answered by the Prime minister, Home Minister and the BJP. All Kashmiri Pandits are living in fear.”

Former J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said, “Terribly sad news from South Kashmir today. An accident & a militant attack have left a trail of death & suffering. I condemn the militant attack in Shopian unequivocally in which Sunil Kumar was killed & Pinto Kumar injured. My condolences to the family.”
