Earlier in Delhi Odd Even system was allowed for shops and malls. So that on one day odd shops would open and on another day the even one. But from tomorrow all the shops in Delhi will be open for customer. Chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday had held a press meet to inform.
Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said in a press meet that the odd even system in Delhi ends. He said After 5 am tomorrow, all activities will be allowed except some activities that will be prohibited and some activities that will be done in a restricted manner. A detailed order has been issued. Said in press conference.
List of Prohibited thing’s!
Schools, colleges, educational & coaching institutions will remain closed. Social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural, religious festival gatherings prohibited. Swimming pools, stadiums, sports complexes, cinema theaters, multiplexes will remain close.
Spas, gyms, Yoga institutes will remain closed. Public parks & gardens will remain closed. In govt offices, there will be 100% attendance of group A officers and 50% for the rest. Essential activities will continue. Private offices will run on 50% capacity from 9 am to 5 pm. All market complexes, malls will now be completely open from 10 am to 8 pm: said Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in the press meet.
Timings for the Shops to Operate
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the odd even is being ended in the capital and every day shops will be open. The CM also said that the timings will remain same as earlier it was. That is from 10am to 8pm. This decision of allowing all the shop’s to open is for a week only. If the cases rise in Delhi we will soon take the strict action.
He said that we had imposed the lockdown in Delhi on 19th April as the second wave of Covid has struck us but now we are planning to unlock everything.
