Heavy rain has been reported in Mumbai and nearing districts. Visuals have came forward from Mumbai where roads were submerged totally. The monsoon has hit the financial city of India.
The IMD ( Indian Metrology Department) has announced a red alert in Mumbai, Thane and Palghar. The red alert is for today whole for next four days it has issued orange alert in these district.
IMD issues red alert in Mumbai, Palghar & Thane districts for today and orange alert for the next four days according to a report published in Ani.
Mayor of Mumbai Kishori Pednekar said that we are not getting support from Indian Railways . She said this on the issue of clearing tracks after heavy rain bas been reported in Mumbai. The tracks as seen in visuals have been submerged completely in the rain water.

While the Indian Railways said taht we are doing our best we are cooperating and the false allegations in us should not be made. “We refute the allegations that Railways is not cooperating. We are continuously conducting meetings with officials of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation so that we can deliver the best service to our passengers: Shivaji Sutar, CPRO, Central Railway.
Here is the list of district where red alert has been issued. We clarify that this red alert is only for today. Mumbai, Thane, Palghar and Raigad. These four district are in red alert today. And on orange alert for next four days. Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Dhule are on organe alerts for next four days. While Nandurban, Jalgaon, Nasik, Pune and Kholapur and Satara on orange alert for today.
